The red squirrel, with its tufted ears and bushy tail, is a cherished inhabitant of our forests. Its fur changes color with the seasons, from warm reddish-brown to darker brown. The agile little squirrel thrives in both forests and parks, where it primarily eats seeds, nuts, mushrooms, and bark. In autumn, it gathers food supplies for the winter. It is active year-round but tends to avoid bad weather and often rests during the day. In spring, you can observe the squirrels' playful chases among the trees, marking the beginning of the mating season.
