What is HUMLE Body Butter good for?
The body butter is developed to provide deep hydration to dry, sensitive and exposed skin. It strengthens the skin's protective barrier and makes the skin soft and supple – especially after showering, sun exposure, or cold weather. It is equally suitable for daily body care as it is for extra care of dry areas such as legs, elbows, and stomach.
Can I use the body butter in my hair?
Yes! The body butter works excellently as a leave-in treatment for dry, frizzy, or curly hair. Apply a very small amount to damp hair – especially to the ends and lengths – to moisturize and enhance natural curls. It does not need to be rinsed out.
What is the difference between the body butter and the ointment Rena Smörjan?
Rena Smörjan is more protective and dense in consistency, perfect for targeted applications and friction protection. The body butter is lighter and suitable for larger skin areas and daily moisturization, also as a hair mask. Both are water-free and very long-lasting, but are used in different ways.
How much do I need to use?
Very little. Since the body butter contains no water, it is very concentrated – a small amount goes a long way. Massage into damp skin for the best effect.
Is it sticky?
No. The whipped consistency melts on the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, as long as you do not overapply.
What scents are available?
The body butter is available in several natural scent variations and a natural (unscented) version (without added essential oils). All scents come from organic plant essences, not synthetic perfumes.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The body butter is based on organic and mild ingredients, without synthetic additives.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, but sparingly. It works well on dry areas of the face, especially during winter or after shaving. Avoid if you have very oily skin or an acne-prone T-zone, as the product is rich.
What does the body butter contain?
Organic shea butter, coconut oil, and almond oil with hops from Kalvsved, vitamin E, and (in scented variants) organic essential oils. The product is completely water-free and contains no preservatives or synthetic substances.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The body butter contains no animal ingredients – it is entirely plant-based and 100% organic.
How should the body butter be stored?
Store in a cool place, preferably below 23 °C, and avoid direct sunlight. At high temperatures, the consistency may change but this does not affect the product's effectiveness.
